My name is Lauren Jenkins. This will be my 18th year teaching Special Education at Maxwell Elementary School. I graduated from Thomson High School in 2001. In 2005 I graduated with from Augusta State University with my Bachelor's degree in B.S. in Interrelated Special Education. In 2008 I graduated from Walden University with my Master's degree in Reading and Literacy. In 2010 I graduated with my Educational Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Augusta State University.
I live in Harlem with my husband, our two girls, and our three dogs. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and watching Christmas movies.
This school year I will be teaching kindergarten and first grade reading and language arts in the small group setting. Thank you in advance for trusting me with your child. I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
