All About Me

Hello Parents,

I am excited and privileged to have the opportunity to work with your child this school year!  My name is Jennifer Henning, and I am a native of Thomson, Georgia.  I have been teaching for the past 27 years.  I am a 1998 graduate of Augusta State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have two daughters, Megan and Summer. 

I want your child to enjoy the learning process, and I want to help them develop their own motivation for learning.  I hope to do my best to encourage your child to succeed in their attempts to learn.  I am here to help your child be as successful as they can be physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.  

As we begin this year, please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you may have at any time. Our school telephone number is 706-986-4800.  I can be reached at this number, before and after school, Monday thru Friday, or you may call and leave a message with the secretary during the school day.  I will get back to you when it is convenient, and as soon as I possibly can.  I will not be interrupted during the school day, unless it is an emergency.
