WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!

Hello Parents,

I am excited and privileged to have the opportunity to teach your child this school year!  My name is Jennifer Henning, and I am a native of Thomson, Georgia.  I have been teaching for the past 23 years.  I am a 1998 graduate of Augusta State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have two daughters, Megan and Summer. 

I will do my best to keep you informed on classroom activities and school events this year.  I will do my best to keep you up to date on your child’s progress throughout the school year.  I want your child to enjoy the learning process, and I want to help them develop their own motivation for learning.  I hope to do my best to encourage your child to succeed in their attempts to learn.  I am here to help your child be as successful as they can be physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.  

As we begin this year, please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you may have at any time. I will do my best to find an answer for you as quickly as I can.  You can always reach me by email: [email protected] or the remind app. Our school telephone number is 706-986-4800.  I can be reached at this number, before and after school, Monday thru Friday, or you may call and leave a message with the secretary during the school day.  I will get back to you when it is convenient, and as soon as I possibly can.  I will not be interrupted during the school day, unless it is an emergency. 

We will be a team for the next year of school!  We need to communicate on an open basis and work together all year to do what is best for your child.  I look forward to a terrific school year!
