About Me
Hello, my name is Amanda Skinner! I am a Special Education teacher and will be co-teaching with Ms. Hawkins in her Kindergarten classroom this year. I also will be teaching a supplemental reading program in the afternoons called "Reading Mastery." This is my twelfth year of teaching; eight of those years have been spent teaching here at the Mighty Max! I received my B.S. Ed. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia in 2011. I am certified in Elementary Education (P-5), Special Education (P-12), and English (6-12). I am married to my wonderful husband, Ben, who is also an educator and coach. Our sweet son, Weston, is five years old and our precious daughter, Mary Benton, is two years old. They certainly keep us busy!
I am so excited for the new school year and look forward to working with my Maxwell family!!!
