Mrs. Leslie's Class

Hello! My name is Stacee Leslie, and I am the Gifted Specialist for Maxwell Elementary School. This is my 21st year in education, and I’m just as passionate today as I was when I started!

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University, a Master’s degree from Troy University, and a Specialist degree from Walden University. I earned my Gifted Certification in 2008, and in 2013, I was honored to be named McDuffie County Teacher of the Year.

Outside of school, I am married to Tellis Leslie, who is also in the education field, and together we have three amazing children: Ashlyn, Aubree, and TJ.

I am thrilled about this upcoming school year! I look forward to engaging my students with hands-on experiments, creative projects, and exciting assignments that will challenge their thinking and make learning fun.
