Ms. Howard's First Grade Page

Hi all! My name is Ansley Howard and I am a first grade teacher here at Maxwell Elementary School. I am so excited to be coming back to my hometown to pour back into the community that helped me become who I am! I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2024 with a degree in Elementary Education. I have spent numerous months in various school systems while completing my student teaching and spent some time substituting here in the county as well. I decided to become an elementary education teacher because I believe a love for learning starts at an early age. How students view learning, and themselves, at this developing stage in children's lives can impact their future enormously. I hope to show my students a love for learning and how amazing each of them are in their own individual way. I am looking forward to all that is to come in first grade! Go dawgs and go bullpups!
